An Inter-ministerial meeting on Early Warning for All and Water at the Heart of Climate project was recently held at Imperial Royal Hotel today. The objective was presentation and finalizing the proposed operational and coordination framework, by the Uganda Red Cross Society which is the lead Implementing team. The other International Agencies funding are the World Meteorological Organization, the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, dedicated to building disaster resilience and tackling climate change through implementation of the Sendai Framework.

 Ministries and agencies involved in this project are the Ministry of Water and Environment, Office of the Prime Minister DRR, Uganda National Meteorological Authority and Ministry of Animal Industry and Fisheries.
