Kampala received heavy rainfall in the early afternoon of 29th May 2015. It was really heavy that it claimed a child's life and ripped off iron sheets from several buildings including those of a Primary School within the City. Other low-lying areas experienced floods with water invading inside buildings.  

According the available data, Kampala weather station reported the highest rainfall amount of 91.2mm. Several other areas in the country also reported to have experienced some rainfall though with minimal devastations.
